Quinn is walking now (finally!), so our lives have changed quite a bit and have been moved, at his behest, into the front yard.
The second photograph is of our sanctuary at Redeemer. I took this a few weeks ago with a fisheye and used this photograph in our recent newsletter. We are quickly approaching our first anniversary as a new church.
Hope everyone is enjoying the change in season and has a great weekend. Blessings!
I found this photo yesterday as we were making the last minute touches to our March - May Gospel Journal (a guide for reading and meditating on Scripture that functions together with our sermon series at Redeemer). I think the newest journals look great and they should be ready for you to pick up on Sunday in our gallery. (You can see what the Gospel Journal cover looks like here.)
Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm preaching Mark 2.13-17 at Redeemer-- and pray that God will speak to us through this text in some profound and culture shaping ways.
Today is my son's first birthday. Because everyone in my family wanted to see how fast a son of mine could eat cake for the first time, we celebrated early over Thanksgiving weekend. You can see more sugar high birthday photographs here.
But, the fact that I had recently gotten a Nikon D300 made it a hard sell to convince Katie we needed yet another camera in our house.
Both the D300 and the D90 are amazing cameras. But, I saw on the banner at amazon today that they are clearing out the Nikon D200 at an excellent price. If you're in the market for a pro-sumer camera but want to spend less money than the D300 or D90, this is definitely a camera to look at.
Tell Santa or your wife that with the money they save on the camera body, they could also get you a lens! (like this Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF. That lens is dirt cheap and is on my camera quite often. Here are some photographs I've taken with that lens.
